Flimmakers Newsletter 1974 - The Filming Of American Graffiti

I really like this article. This is one of the deepest interviews with Lucas that I have read. These eight pages give you a look at what Lucas was shooting for and how he achieved that look. This is not just the usual quickie movie review.

Hot Cars July 1974 - Have the Hot Rod Association Caused Street Racing?

In this weeks issue they don't really talk about the movie American Graffiti. They say that changes in the rules and classes are driving cars back on to the streets to drag race. I never thought of it but I guess American Graffiti is a perfect commercial to show the danger of street racing. Danger....hey that's my middle name!!

The Spokesman Review - Nov 1 2008 - Local Car Stars Shine Bright

As much as I love Milner's Coupe I have to admit the story of Bolander's 58 Impala is the most interesting and heart warming story of all the Graffiti cars. Mike with the help of his family and friends has done an unreal job preserving the "Superfine Machine" I know it's a labor of love but I just gotta say Thanks Mike!!!!

Hollywood Tv and Movie Cars 2001 - American Graffiti

At first I was impressed by the large amount of facts they worked into this previous movie reviews. Unfortunately that feeling is short lived as the writer starts missing gears in the Graffiti fact transmission. Making statements about the Coupe's Ford motor??? and the ST10 trans. The facts continue on their foggy way through the rest of this article. Still worthy of a read just to take the facts as gospel.

Films and Filming 1974 - In Camera (American Graffiti)

I don't think that they took the time to see the movie. When they wright things like American Graffiti sounds fun that tells me they have not yet been immersed into Lucas' vision.

Hot Rods 2004 - Five-Window Deuce Coupe Hot Rods

I guess if your are going to talk about 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe's you should about the most recognisable one out there..... and  it  is  The Bitchinest Car In The Valley!

Rolling Stone No43 September 1973 - American Graffiti A Sixties Novella

A bit of an odd review. He talks American Graffiti up then cuts it down.
